About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within a specific product category, such as bedding, tabletop, or bath. You will join a team of mentors and leaders to develop your skills in retail operations. The program includes professional training, networking opportunities, and project work alongside an intern cohort.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of pricing, cost changes, and SKU maintenance.
- Assist in the creation of product strategies and prepare reports.
- Partner with vendors and internal photo teams to support category goals.
- Attend business meetings and lead assigned projects.
- Develop a new project proposal and present your findings to the executive leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program as a junior, with an expected graduation in 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Proficiency in Excel, specifically with vlookups and pivot tables.
- Strong interest in retail, home decor, or the Williams-Sonoma family of brands.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems in a changing business environment.

- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Modality: On-site, 4 days per week.
- Term: Summer 2028 (June 7th to August 13th).
- Status: Full-time and paid position.
