About the role#
WGI is hiring a Civil Engineering intern for the Summer 2027 term in Tampa, Florida. This is a paid, full-time position that offers hands-on experience with real projects for private and public clients. You will work within the civil team to bridge the gap between your academic studies and professional work.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on projects within and among various departments.
- Complete team projects and individual tasks assigned to your discipline.
- Follow company policies and guidelines while maintaining punctuality and dependability.
- Take on additional responsibilities based on your experience level.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years at an accredited college in a civil engineering program.
- Solid PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to adapt to varied work environments, including indoors, outdoors, and project sites.
- Current authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
- Experience with Auto Cad, Revit, or Microstation is a plus.
