About the role#
As a Technical Supply Chain and Procurement Intern, you will assist with sourcing, supplier management, and procurement activities for nuclear energy projects. You will work alongside engineering, project management, and quality teams to help procure technical products and services. This position reports to the department manager.
What you'll do#
- Support supplier identification, qualification, and evaluation.
- Assist with technical reviews of supplier proposals and compliance documentation.
- Help prepare Request for Quotation packages.
- Participate in supplier audits, technical meetings, and design reviews.
- Evaluate manufacturing and process plans.
- Analyze supplier performance, cost, schedule, and technical data.
- Support project teams during the procurement lifecycle.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for mechanical, electrical, industrial, nuclear, manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work can be performed on-site, remotely, or in a hybrid arrangement.
- The role is based at our facilities in Rock Hill, South Carolina, or Columbia, South Carolina.
- The hourly rate for this position is between $25.40 and $29.00, depending on your experience and skills.
