About the role#
As a Functional Excellence Intern, you will support project management and integration processes across the APx Delivery Stream portfolio. You will work with Delivery Stream leadership, project managers, and engineers to maintain project schedules, financial reporting, and key performance indicators. This role reports to the APx Functional Excellence Integration Manager.
What you'll do#
- Manage and review APx Delivery Stream Task Plans.
- Standardize and update internal processes, procedures, and templates.
- Support APx change management initiatives.
- Assist engineers with supplier identification and evaluations.
- Prepare Request for Quote packages and handle purchase order placements.
- Provide direct support to customers.
- Contribute to monthly project reviews and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Familiarity with software tools such as WNEXUS, WPRO, SAP, Ariba, or Primavera.

- Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Full-time, Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an estimated hourly rate of $25.40 to $29.00.
