About the role#
As a Control System Platforms & Standards intern, you will contribute to the development of technical products and systems. You will report to the Control & Information System Engineering Manager. This is a paid, full-time internship based in Warrendale, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Design, document, and test I&C Plant Systems for nuclear power generation applications.
- Implement hardware and software designs that meet specific requirements.
- Create design documents, test plans, and procedures to verify system performance.
- Issue Field Change Notices to support hardware and software modifications.
- Resolve technical issues during design, implementation, and site startup.
- Support manufacturing operations during procurement, integration, and Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams, vendors, and other departments involved in system development.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for electrical, mechanical, nuclear, or computer engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
