About the role#
As a Nuclear Engineering Intern, you will support engineering activities for nuclear reactor systems, core design, fuel management, and plant operations. You will gain experience by applying nuclear engineering principles to commercial nuclear projects. You will report to the department manager.
What you'll do#
- Help with nuclear design calculations and analyses.
- Support reactor core design and fuel management activities.
- Analyze engineering data and simulation results.
- Participate in nuclear engineering training and seminars.
- Support technical report development.
- Assist engineering teams with design solutions.
- Contribute to project planning and execution efforts.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering.
- Completed Sophomore year of college.
- Interest in reactor physics, nuclear systems, or fuel design.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 (May to August).
- The role is hybrid or on-site.
- You will be based at one of our Pennsylvania facilities in Cranberry Township, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton.
- Hourly pay ranges from $25.40 to $29.00 depending on experience and skills.
