About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work on the development, analysis, testing, and implementation of systems and components for nuclear power generation projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to contribute to real-world engineering solutions. You will report to the department manager.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering design and analysis activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, reports, and calculations.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
- Support the resolution of engineering and manufacturing issues.
- Conduct engineering evaluations and research activities.
- Support testing and validation efforts.
- Collaborate with project teams.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Completed your sophomore year of college.

- Locations: Rock Hill, SC or Columbia, SC.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work modality: Hybrid or on-site.
- Employment type: Full-time, paid internship.
