About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work on the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical and control systems for nuclear facilities and products. You will report to a department manager and work from one of our Pennsylvania facilities.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of system architecture drawings and schematics.
- Assist with hardware design and documentation.
- Help develop technical specifications and procedures.
- Support manufacturing and testing activities.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Assist with hardware validation and functional testing.
- Support procurement and manufacturing documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Completed at least your sophomore year of college.
- Interest in control systems, instrumentation, or power systems.
- Familiarity with electrical design concepts and drawings.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work modality is hybrid or on-site.
- Locations include Cranberry Township, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, Pennsylvania.
- The hourly rate is $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
