About the role#
As a Civil or Structural Engineering Intern, you will assist with engineering and procurement tasks for nuclear power plant structures, modules, and construction projects. You will report to the department manager and work from our Rock Hill or Columbia, South Carolina facilities. This is a full-time, paid internship for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering analysis and design documentation.
- Assist with structural evaluations and calculations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
- Participate in project reviews and planning sessions.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Support procurement and manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate with project teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for civil or structural engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- An interest in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
- Proficiency with engineering and productivity software.
