About the role#
As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will support activities related to nuclear power generation. You will work on thermal-hydraulic, fluid systems, process engineering, and plant systems analysis. This is a full-time, paid internship for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with thermal and fluid systems analysis.
- Support process design and engineering calculations.
- Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports.
- Participate in evaluations and reviews.
- Support projects for both operating and new plants.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Work alongside project teams and system engineers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for chemical engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Familiarity with engineering calculations and fundamentals.
- An interest in process engineering and energy systems.
Location & details#
- Locations: Cranberry Township, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Modality: Hybrid or on-site.
- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
