About the role#
This internship provides practical work experience in Enterprise managed IT and Industrial networking. You will work on technical projects and engage with various customer networks and applications. The role includes mentorship, training, and opportunities to shadow different departments.
What you'll do#
- Support the Network Solutions team in maintaining customer hardware, software, and systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting and provide technical support for managed services and projects.
- Provide backup support for routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Troubleshoot peripherals such as printers and scanners.
- Design, configure, and deploy plant floor network topologies using the CPwE guide.
- Learn the requirements of the OT space compared to IT.
- Gain knowledge of Cisco operating systems, cloud computing, web services, and remote access solutions.
- Respond to customer and sales force inquiries via phone and email.
- Create and update training materials.
- Complete tasks assigned by supervisors from multiple departments.
- Learn and use internal software systems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited program pursuing a degree in IT, Networking, Business Administration, or a related field.
