About the role#
The eCommerce Intern supports the digital customer experience at Werner, focusing on OneWerner.com. You will gain hands-on experience with website content management, web analytics, user experience, and search optimization. This role provides exposure to how eCommerce integrates with sales, marketing, and other business areas.
What you'll do#
- Build, update, and manage website pages, landing pages, and digital assets.
- Use HTML and CSS to style and refine content.
- Perform quality assurance testing for functionality, accuracy, and responsive behavior across devices.
- Analyze traffic, customer journeys, and search behavior to find trends and improvements.
- Use behavioral analytics tools to spot areas of customer friction or abandonment.
- Improve search results, redirects, and product merchandising.
- Develop reports and documentation based on project findings.
- Help establish repeatable processes for eCommerce optimization.
- Participate in cross-functional, sales, and customer meetings to understand business needs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited program pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- This position is based on-site in Appleton, Wisconsin.
- This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- This role is paid.
