About the role#
The Finance Internship provides hands-on experience within our finance department. You will work alongside financial professionals to gain exposure to credit, collections, reporting, and compliance. This role involves contributing to projects like account reconciliations, audits, and financial analysis to help you build practical skills in a corporate environment.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile customer accounts to collect payments and resolve deductions.
- Provide invoices, proof of delivery documents, and statements to customers.
- Use the DNB Credit Business tool to evaluate credit for new accounts, extensions, and risk.
- Review orders on credit hold for your assigned portfolio.
- Attend industry credit group meetings with an analyst.
- Gather and organize data to support financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and summaries for management.
- Help with budget tracking and variance analysis.
- Research financial trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices.
- Maintain and update financial databases, records, and spreadsheets.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or a related field.
