About the role#
As an Automation Specialist Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside our Automation Specialists. You will support the team as they provide product and technical assistance to our customers. This is a full-time, paid summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with classroom setup and act as a teacher's aid during training sessions.
- Support Technical Support Specialists with ongoing projects, lab maintenance, and the transport of equipment demos.
- Participate in customer-facing events, including Counter Days and technical presentations.
- Manage inventory for lab equipment demos.
- Handle literature orders and other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in a related field.
- Basic knowledge of automation products, sensors, industrial controls, and safety products.
- Previous experience in customer service or technical support is a plus.

- This position is based on-site in Appleton, Wisconsin.
- The internship takes place during Summer 2027.
