About the role#
The Weatherford Summer Business Internship offers students hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. You will work from our Houston office during the summer of 2027. This paid, full-time position focuses on professional growth through direct mentorship and project work across departments like Finance, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.
What you'll do#
- Receive coaching and mentoring to understand our organization and projects.
- Complete internal projects to identify business improvements and critical customer outcomes.
- Learn about our systems and processes to assist with project completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and network with global business leaders.
- Present your project outcomes to the Senior Leadership team.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Human Resources.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship or time restriction.
