About the role#
The Product Specialist Intern will join the Product Management team to support daily operations and project coordination. You will assist with new product development, documentation, and marketing collateral. This role reports to the Senior Product Manager and offers an opportunity to learn foundational product management principles through hands-on work. This is a full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with product documentation, label creation, and marketing collateral updates.
- Support cross-functional teams by tracking tasks and maintaining project timelines during new product development.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product Development to support new product launches.
- Gather and organize product data, including specifications, requirements, and internal feedback.
- Update databases and collect information to support the development of business cases.
- Identify and report product-related issues by working with Engineering and Customer Support.
- Create sales and technical documentation for presentations.
- Support dashboard development and data analysis to monitor product performance.
- Take on additional projects and duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current student with sophomore, junior, or senior status pursuing a degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical competency in preparing documentation for technical systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong sense of accountability and a commitment to integrity in all interactions.
- Understanding of and adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and safety practices.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to successfully complete background checks and pre-employment testing.
- Engineering focus with a minor in Marketing or Business is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and data analysis is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Myers, Florida.
- Work Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $21-27 per hour.
- Requirements: Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment, including wearing required personal protective equipment and lifting up to 20 pounds.
