About the role#
The Product Engineering Co-Op program provides hands-on experience by integrating you into the daily operations of our engineering team. You will work under the direction of the Engineering Manager to support design, development, and testing projects. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our facility in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The program runs from January through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist the engineering team with the design, development, and testing of various projects.
- Perform data analysis to help guide engineering decisions.
- Create and update technical documentation, including reports and specifications.
- Use engineering software to assist with modeling, simulations, and calculations.
- Support the development and implementation of prototypes and experiments.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to project planning.
- Conduct research on engineering topics and compile findings.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues.
- Attend meetings and provide progress updates on assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a related field. Sophomores or Juniors are preferred.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively while working on multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and an eagerness to learn.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks is preferred. Experience with AutoCAD or MATLAB is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- This role involves working in both an office environment and occasionally on the manufacturing floor, where you will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. You may need to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
