About the role#
As an Amazon & E-Commerce Marketplace Intern, you will join the Corporate Marketing E-Commerce team to support the growth and optimization of our presence across digital marketplaces. This role provides hands-on experience in marketplace merchandising, product content management, competitive analysis, and performance reporting. You will work to improve customer visibility and support marketplace growth initiatives while reporting to the Manager, E-Commerce Marketplaces.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day management of products across Amazon and other e-commerce channels.
- Monitor listings to ensure accurate pricing, product information, availability, images, and content.
- Assist with new product launches, assortment updates, and merchandising initiatives.
- Identify and resolve listing errors, content issues, and suppressed products.
- Track and report on performance metrics like sales, traffic, conversion rates, ratings, and reviews.
- Develop and maintain recurring performance dashboards.
- Analyze marketplace data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Optimize product content including titles, descriptions, attributes, and images.
- Conduct competitive research on pricing, promotions, and marketplace positioning.
- Research consumer shopping behaviors and best practices.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Customer Service teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, and consumer behavior.
- Familiarity with Amazon, Walmart.com, or other online marketplaces is preferred.
- Experience with PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, or basic analytical techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, or product content management is preferred.
- Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, or large datasets is a plus.
- Exposure to Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central is preferred.
