About the role#
As an Audit Intern at Walker & Armstrong LLP, you will work directly with seniors, managers, and partners on various engagements. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to audit and attest services while gaining experience in a paperless environment. You will be expected to travel approximately 25% of the time.
What you'll do#
- Perform tests of controls.
- Confirm and test account balances and activity.
- Assist with drafting financial statements, note disclosures, and related reports.
- Organize project tasks.
- Collaborate with the audit team on diverse client engagements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude.
- Experience with automated accounting systems is a plus.
