About the role#
As an Audit Intern at Walker & Armstrong LLP, you will work directly with seniors, managers, and partners on various audit engagements. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a paperless environment while supporting a wide variety of industries, including governmental and nonprofit entities.
What you'll do#
- Perform tests of controls.
- Conduct confirmation and testing of account balances and activity.
- Assist with the drafting of financial statements, note disclosures, and related reports.
- Organize projects effectively.
- Collaborate with team members at all levels on client engagements.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general technology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude.
- Experience with automated accounting systems is considered a plus.
