About the role#
This Finance-Accounting internship provides exposure to the strategic decision-making processes at Walgreens. You will work across various divisions to support department goals and help influence business outcomes. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Deerfield, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to strategy development for your assigned business unit.
- Analyze data using various tools to provide recommendations that support the business.
- Provide general day-to-day support to different divisions.
- Suggest updates to existing policies and processes to leadership.
- Complete a project aligned with strategic priorities and present your findings to managers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program, with at least 2 semesters remaining when you start.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Experience working within teams.
- Ability to write reports and present information in formal or classroom settings.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
