About the role#
As a research intern, you will join a team of multidisciplinary scientists and engineers. You will use an AI-first approach to help enable safe self-driving at scale. This role offers the opportunity to publish your work at conferences like NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and CVPR, or contribute to open source projects.
What you'll do#
- Lead or contribute to AI research projects by developing new algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
- Focus on areas such as perception, prediction, motion planning, controls, simulation, mapping, and localization.
- Design, implement, train, and optimize algorithms for self-driving vehicles and production systems.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelors, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Robotics, or a related field.
- Research or software engineering experience gained through internships, work, coding competitions, or published papers.
- A strong quantitative background with knowledge of linear algebra, calculus, and probability.
- Proficiency in reading and writing Python or C++.
- A desire to solve complex problems in the self-driving space.
