About the role#
As an Automation Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience delivering automation solutions to improve business processes within Volvo Financial Services North America. You will work alongside business analysts, developers, and automation engineers to move projects from initial concepts to completed solutions. This role offers the opportunity to lead automation initiatives under the guidance of mentors while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and document business requirements.
- Analyze business processes and data to improve operational efficiency.
- Design, develop, test, and document automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, with exposure to UiPath and Azure AI.
- Develop automation scripts and integrations using Python, C#, or other scripting languages.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Create project documentation, process flows, technical guides, and implementation plans.
- Perform solution testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Present project updates and final solutions to stakeholders and technical leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours.
- Good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.
- Experience developing software or technical solutions through coursework, projects, or previous internships.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python or C#.
- Interest in low-code platforms and enterprise automation technologies.
