About the role#
This internship at Volvo Financial Services Canada offers students practical experience in accounting, cash management, and financial operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to key financial processes and support the business during the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, full-time position that provides exposure to departments including Operations, Asset Management, Sales, and Finance.
What you'll do#
- Provide general project support and assist with daily departmental activities.
- Assist with daily cash application processes, including payment posting, managing NSF chargebacks, and ensuring accurate general ledger coding.
- Support the finance team in preparing bank reconciliations and maintaining financial integrity during month-end close activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for various initiatives.
- Perform statistical analysis and assist in data pre-processing.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a college or university program, specifically in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, BI) is preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
