About the role#
Voith US Inc. is looking for a Payroll and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Intern to support the HRIS and Payroll department. This role involves working with HR, HRIS, and payroll colleagues on various tasks and projects. This position is available on a rolling basis and offers a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team on payroll and HRIS projects.
- Assist with data entry preparation, research, I-9 documentation, and archiving.
- Support the payroll team with auditing and data cleanup.
- Review and organize shared electronic files for the HRGBS team.
- Handle company and employee information with strict confidentiality.
- Complete other payroll and HRIS related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in data analytics or data science is preferred.
- Ability to sit at a desk for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
