About the role#
The Continuous Improvement Intern supports the North America team by identifying and implementing process improvement projects. You will use Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to gain hands-on experience in process analysis, problem-solving, and project management within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Identify areas for process improvement and collect data to support these projects.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions.
- Support the development and implementation of improvement plans.
- Document process changes and monitor project results.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma training and workshops.
- Contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Prior coursework or experience in Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
