About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the Transaction Advisory Services practice at VMG Health. You will support financial due diligence engagements across the healthcare industry. Working alongside consultants and managers, you will gain exposure to buy-side and sell-side transactions, Quality of Earnings analyses, and other deal-related workstreams.
What you'll do#
- Support engagement teams on financial due diligence and transaction advisory projects.
- Assist with data gathering, financial analysis, and diligence workstreams including Quality of Earnings and working capital.
- Prepare financial models, schedules, and analyses for client deliverables.
- Draft clear summaries of findings for internal review.
- Keep engagement leaders updated on task status and potential issues.
- Format presentation materials, proposals, and internal team resources.
- Interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Build knowledge of TAS and FDD methodologies and healthcare sectors.
- Participate in team networking activities and complete mandatory training.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written formats.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach and intellectual curiosity regarding transaction advisory and healthcare.
