About the role#
These co-op positions are based in the Maintenance department at the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. You will work on-site in an industrial environment, assisting with the maintenance of plant equipment and systems while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance.

- Support the safe performance of preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
- Maintain an environment that prioritizes personnel, plant, and public safety.
- Adhere to all established procedures and guidelines.
- Promote teamwork and remain open to new ideas.
- Report to work with a positive attitude and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a two-year degree program in Instrument and Control, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical fields.
- Completion of at least two semesters of your program.
- Good technical writing and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and a professional work ethic.
- Ability to adapt and excel in a strict compliance-based environment.
- A driven, self-starting attitude with a strong desire to learn.

- Location: Glen Rose, Texas.

- Role Type: Full-time, paid co-op.
- Working Conditions: You may work around energized equipment and in both indoor and outdoor settings. The role requires occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs and occasional climbing while wearing a body harness.
