About the role#
This 6-month co-op program offers students the opportunity to support communications plans for pipeline announcements and research initiatives. You will work alongside project leads to create internal and external content, helping to shape how the company shares information about its medicines and disease areas. We plan to hire up to two candidates for this term.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with business partners to execute communications plans for pipeline announcements and content campaigns.
- Support the digital communications team by drafting social media content and developing website copy.
- Research and write articles, employee stories, and multimedia content for the company intranet.
- Assist with disease affinity recognition by producing internal and external educational materials.
- Track metrics from communications campaigns to provide insights for future strategy.
- Provide support for ongoing initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in biology, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Understanding of the scientific method and scientific concepts.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple, competing priorities on tight deadlines.
- A motivated and energetic approach to work.
- Prior internship experience in communications, medical, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology fields is preferred.
- Students graduating before June 2027 must be enrolled in an advanced degree program.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January - June 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid or on-site.
- Employment: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour.
