About the role#
Paradromics is looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with our marketing, communications, scientific, and business teams to help communicate our work in brain-computer interfaces. This role provides hands-on experience in how a medical technology company builds its brand and shares scientific progress with the public.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of industry conferences, scientific meetings, and corporate events.
- Manage event logistics, such as vendor coordination, shipping, registration, and on-site preparation.
- Assist with media relations by developing media lists, preparing press materials, and monitoring coverage of the neurotechnology industry.
- Conduct research on patient populations, unmet needs, and BCI technology applications.
- Perform competitive analyses to provide insights for strategic planning.
- Support marketing operations by tracking projects, maintaining databases, and organizing performance metrics for digital campaigns.
- Develop presentations and reports to share research findings with internal teams.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or related fields.
- Students in science, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, or healthcare programs with an interest in communications are encouraged to apply.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for science and technology.
- Ability to research, evaluate, and synthesize information effectively.
- Comfort using Google Workspace and AI research tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work across different disciplines.
- Experience with social media, graphic design, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or project management tools is a plus.

- This is an on-site internship based in Austin, Texas.
- The term runs from January 11, 2027, to May 14, 2027.
- This is a paid, part-time position at 24 hours per week.
