About the role#
Venture Solar is hiring a Business Development Intern to join our inside sales and reactivation team. You will work directly with senior leadership and operations to connect with homeowners across the Northeast. This role focuses on educating customers about solar energy and home electrification while scheduling meetings for our sales team. It is a full-time position based in our Stamford office.
What you'll do#
- Reach out to prospective customers by phone, email, and other approved channels.
- Help homeowners understand solar energy and home electrification options.
- Identify opportunities for conversations with our sales team.
- Schedule qualified appointments and follow up to keep customers engaged.
- Coordinate outreach efforts with senior leadership and operations teams.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer conversations and follow-up activities.
- Participate in training to build skills in communication, customer service, and sales.
- Work toward individual and team outreach and appointment-setting goals.

Location & details#
- Location: Stamford, Connecticut (On-site).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
- Compensation: $18 per hour plus commission.
- Benefits: Includes health, dental, vision, and 401k with company match.
- Start date: October 2026.
