About the role#
Venerable is offering an actuarial internship for Summer 2027. This role sits within the Investments, Derivatives, and Risk Operations department. You will gain exposure to asset and derivative operations, derivative reporting, and investment data strategy. This is a full-time, paid position that includes financial support and study hours for actuarial exams.
What you'll do#
- Support operational activities for general and separate accounts.
- Partner with external providers, including investment managers and bank counterparties, to support assets and derivatives.
- Assist with investment and market data initiatives across Risk and Finance.
- Help with ongoing data management, including database maintenance and data integrity.
- Create presentations or memorandums to summarize your analysis and results.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or Actuarial Science.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Solid mathematical and technical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Work Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
