About the role#
VEGA Americas is seeking a Supply Chain Co-Op for the Winter 2027 term. This full-time, paid position supports our purchasing department through procurement, material planning, and logistics activities. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Create and monitor purchase orders while tracking supplier deliveries.
- Identify material shortages or long-lead-time components.
- Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and inventory data within our ERP system.
- Prepare reports regarding material availability and supply chain performance.
- Assist with sourcing activities such as requests for quotation, bid comparisons, and supplier scorecards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inventory and engineering-change issues.
- Analyze current processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Complete a defined project that delivers measurable business impact.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or higher in a 2-year or 4-year degree program.
- Academic focus in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management.
- Ability to work on-site at our Mason office.
