About the role#
As a Student Scribe, you work on the front lines of emergency veterinary medicine. You support our veterinarians by building accurate medical records for each patient. This role provides direct shadowing experience and helps you build skills for a future career in the veterinary field.
What you'll do#
- Compose electronic medical records for patients.
- Communicate with all members of the medical team.
- Submit lab work and alert the doctor when results arrive.
- Assist doctors with non-clinical tasks.
- Maintain professionalism and a strong work ethic.
- Type quickly and write with clarity.
- Work in an environment that requires handling multiple tasks at once.
- Availability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays is required.
