About the role#
The Administrative & Communications Intern supports the PATH Tucson program. You will manage digital outreach, streamline stakeholder communications, and handle operational tasks. This role is suited for students interested in non-profit management, educational programming, marketing, or graphic design.
What you'll do#
- Lead the PATH Instagram account through content creation and scheduling.
- Design promotional materials, flyers, and digital slides using Canva.
- Build and manage Slate drip campaigns to communicate with stakeholders.
- Monitor student completion trackers and send reminders to cohorts.
- Curate and design newsletters and web updates for student groups.
- Research venues and assist with event logistics, such as catering and setup.
- Compile academic calendars, manage data entry, and process expense reports.
What you'll need#
- Strong written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Instagram and Canva.
- Experience with Slate or other CRM and email marketing tools.
- Ability to track deadlines across multiple student cohorts.
- A commitment to supporting students through the PATH program.
Location & details#
- Location: Tucson, Arizona.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
- Schedule: 5 to 7 hours per week, with up to 10 hours during peak event periods.
- Preferred Majors: Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or Business Administration.
