About the role#
The Logistics Analytics Co-Op program offers an opportunity to join the transportation department at United States Cold Storage. You will gain hands-on analytics experience and learn about the frozen food warehousing and transportation industry. This role involves working alongside a team of analysts in a corporate office environment to create solutions for carriers and customers.
What you'll do#
- Run weekly and monthly reports for management and customers focusing on performance, efficiency, and cost.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain internal analytics tools through routine checks, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Synthesize data from systems like TMS, WMS, and CRM to create customer-specific reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate business growth and performance.
- Assist in responding to requests for proposals and contribute to business reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, systems, and billing.
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks to improve workflow efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken formats.
- A reliable mode of transportation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
