About the role#
Ulteig is looking for a Civil Engineer Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This role offers a mix of design and construction work, providing a broad look at the field. You will work on projects that require adherence to specific client standards and budgets.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and analyze engineering systems.
- Prepare plans for grading, erosion control, traffic control, pavement marking, street lighting, and underground utilities.
- Develop specifications that meet state and municipal requirements.
- Perform construction observation duties on assigned projects.
- Maintain construction records, quantities, checklists, and daily reports.
- Coordinate on-site materials testing.
- Work in both office and field settings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering.
- Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Availability to commute to and work on projects in metro and northern Colorado.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior internship experience and working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley Open Roads Designer are preferred.
