About the role#
The Client Services Intern role provides hands-on experience by supporting active client engagements. You will work within a technology consulting team to keep projects organized and moving forward. This is a full-time, paid, 8-week summer program designed to bridge the gap between academic study and professional consulting.
What you'll do#
- Support daily delivery on client projects by capturing meeting notes and tracking action items, risks, and dependencies.
- Prepare status updates and keep project boards accurate.
- Participate in the agile rhythm, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Assist with requirements gathering by drafting user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to product roadmaps, resourcing views, and updates for executive stakeholders.
- Research emerging technologies and best practices to apply to project work.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban).
- Understanding of the role of a business analyst or project coordinator on a technology team.
- Comfort using collaboration and reporting tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset and a strong interest in technology consulting.
- Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for rapid learning.
- Ability to work full-time for the 8-week duration of the program.

- This role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, or Richmond, Virginia.
- The work modality is hybrid.
- The program runs during the Summer 2027 term.
