Administrative Intern

About the role#

This Administrative Intern position at Mercy Care Atlanta offers hands-on experience in healthcare administration within a mission-driven environment. What you'll do#

• Conduct proactive outreach to patients for preventive care and appointment scheduling.
• Manage and review medical records using Epic EHR and insurance portals.
• Provide front desk service during patient check-in and check-out.
• Assist with registration forms, insurance verification, and documentation collection.
• Facilitate communication between patients, providers, and staff to support clinic flow.
• Contribute to special projects including quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.
• A strong interest in healthcare administration.
• High attention to detail and a motivated work ethic.
