About the role#
The UPS Applications Engineering Intern supports the design, application, and performance of Toshiba industrial products. You will act as a technical resource for customers, distributors, and sales teams while gaining hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support and product troubleshooting for customers.
- Assist customers, distributors, and agencies with detailed technology support.
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on team projects.
- Develop technical skills under the guidance of experienced mentors.
- Manage the reception area by greeting visitors, verifying IDs for security, and answering incoming calls.
- Maintain the executive conference room, update welcome displays, and restock office supplies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering program at an accredited college or university.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team player in a culturally diverse environment.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located in Houston, Texas.
- The role is on-site and follows a rolling term.
