About the role#
Toshiba International Corporation is looking for an Electrical or Computer Engineering intern to join our team in Houston. You will work on standard micro PLC and HMI programs for our packaged automation products. This role balances technical programming with the creation of clear training materials for our customers and internal teams.
What you'll do#
- Develop and test micro PLC and HMI programs for automation products.
- Build HMI screens, templates, and technical documentation.
- Create training content such as PowerPoint presentations and video tutorials.
- Support hardware testing, troubleshooting, and program validation efforts.
- Assist engineering teams with updates and customer-focused technical materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree program.
- Proficiency in computer programming languages.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Familiarity with PLC and control system concepts is helpful.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Houston, Texas.
- The position is paid and follows a rolling term schedule.
