About the role#
Tokyo Electron America is seeking a Sales Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid internship provides hands-on experience within the semiconductor manufacturing industry. You will work on a specific project designed to deliver business value while applying Lean principles.
What you'll do#
- Support the Sales Account team with customer relationship mapping, scorecards, and sales initiatives within the Heat Map process.
- Prepare presentations for monthly reporting.
- Partner with the Sales Account Manager to support ramp readiness at customer high-volume manufacturing sites.
- Use Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software to complete daily tasks.
- Collaborate across business units and international teams, adapting to diverse cultural expectations.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining professional courtesy.
- Adjust priorities to meet changing customer requirements.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current or past college education in Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.
- Strong background in data visualization with an understanding of AI capabilities is preferred.
- Experience with sales, marketing, technology, or interpersonal communication coursework is a plus.
- Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.

- This role is based in Austin, Texas.
- The internship runs from May 17, 2027, through August 20, 2027.
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- The role involves office work and periodic factory tours for customer alignment and internal auditing.
