About the role#
We are looking for a student intern to join our DevOps team in Montreal for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, hybrid position where you will support our daily operations and contribute to our software delivery processes. You will be assigned a special project focused on Python and cloud infrastructure to complete during your time with us.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the DevOps team and various development groups.
- Learn our internal tools, offerings, and the technical architecture behind our services.
- Gain a practical understanding of the technical problems we solve.
- Contribute to the build and release processes for our current solutions.
- Complete a dedicated project involving Python and cloud infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
- A strong interest in technology and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in Python and a willingness to learn new scripting languages.
- Experience with or knowledge of UNIX, Linux, or Windows operating systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A focus on creating well-tested, maintainable solutions for complex problems.
- Bonus points for experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud providers like Google, Amazon, or Azure, and agile development workflows.
- Ability to document and visually represent technical concepts and architectures.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Montreal, Quebec.
- The position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- We are not offering work permit sponsorship for this role.
