About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. You will work alongside finance professionals within the Energy and Infrastructure Solutions department to support strategic decision-making. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Build financial models to support business decisions.
- Assist with the creation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Track financial performance against set budgets.
- Analyze trends in key performance indicators, including sales, expenses, and profit margins.
- Identify the causes of unexpected variances in financial metrics.
- Produce regular and accurate status reports on your assignments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 5% of the time.
- Ability to work on-site in Houston.
