About the role#
Three Notch Group is hiring an Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will work on real-world civil engineering projects while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals in the field. What you'll do#
- Work directly on active civil engineering projects.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for civil or environmental engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of engineering principles, construction processes, and materials.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D and GIS tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret technical data and perform calculations.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well alone or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
- Background in transportation, design, geotechnical engineering, or environmental systems through coursework or projects.
