    About the role#

    As an Engineer Intern in our Facades Practice, you will gain hands-on experience working on building envelope projects. These range from high-rise curtain walls and complex cladding systems to adaptive-reuse and specialty solutions. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and façade specialists to understand the structural and performance requirements of modern design.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to the structural analysis, design, and detailing of façade systems, including curtain walls and unitized panels.
    • Review structural loads, wind, seismic, and thermal performance criteria for façade components.
    • Work with in-house engineers, architects, and external consultants to support coordinated design efforts.
    • Assist in the preparation of drawings, technical specifications, and documentation within a BIM environment.
    • Learn about constructability reviews, mock-up testing, and facade performance evaluation.

    What you'll need#

    • You are a current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
    • You have a strong academic record and a genuine interest in structural and façade engineering.
    • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar modeling software is a plus.
    • You possess curiosity, attention to detail, and a desire to learn from experienced engineers.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid internship based in New York, New York.
    • The position follows a rolling schedule and requires on-site work.
