About the role#
As an Engineer Intern in our Construction Engineering Practice, you will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of design and construction. You will support the development of temporary works, erection strategies, and steel connection solutions for complex building and infrastructure projects. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help deliver projects safely and efficiently.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the analysis, design, and detailing of temporary works including formwork, falsework, shoring, and erection systems.
- Assist with steel connection design and detailing while considering fabrication constraints and field requirements.
- Support the development of construction sequencing plans, stability analyses, and erection strategies.
- Prepare construction engineering documents, calculations, and drawings within a BIM environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in civil, structural, or construction engineering.
- A strong academic record.
- A clear interest in structural engineering and construction.
- Familiarity with structural analysis software and CAD/BIM tools such as Revit, Tekla, or AutoCAD.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in New York, NY.
- The term for this role is Summer 2027.
- This position is on-site.
