About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern in our Forensics Practice, you will gain hands-on experience investigating electrical system failures, damage, and performance issues across buildings and infrastructure. You will work alongside professionals across multiple disciplines to gain exposure to forensic methodologies and engineering solutions.
What you'll do#
- Assist in field investigations of electrical systems, document conditions, and collect data for analysis.
- Support evaluations of system performance and failure modes using engineering tools and forensic techniques.
- Help prepare technical reports and exhibits for clients and legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical solutions for repair or mitigation.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in electrical engineering.
- Strong academic record.
- Interest in electrical systems and forensic problem-solving.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or electrical analysis tools is a plus but not required.
