About the role#
The Walt Disney Television Labor Relations department is seeking a J.D. intern to support the legal team in managing union relations and contract compliance. This role provides practical experience in applying labor law to collective bargaining agreements, participating in negotiation strategies, and developing executive-level legal writing skills. Interns will work closely with attorneys to support business units across the Disney Television portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Analyze collective bargaining agreements and assist business units with the implementation of contract terms regarding wages, hours, and working conditions.
- Investigate, handle, and resolve grievances and information requests submitted by unions and guilds.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on relevant labor laws.
- Prepare summaries and presentations regarding issues under collective bargaining agreements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school pursuing a J.D. degree (1L or 2L at the time of the internship).
- Relevant coursework in labor and employment law, entertainment business, entertainment law, or intellectual property.
- Proficiency with Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with high-volume document processing.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Experience in research and information presentation.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Compensation: $41.40 per hour.
- Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization. Candidates must provide their own housing and transportation.
