    About the role#

    The Disneyland Resort Communications and Public Affairs team manages the resort's reputation through media relations, community engagement, government relations, and internal communications. As a Public Affairs Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting teams across Corporate Social Responsibility, Government Relations, and the Disneyland Resort Ambassador Program. This is a full-time, six-month internship based in Anaheim, California.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the planning, communication, and execution of events with internal teams, community partners, and stakeholders.
    • Coordinate VIP and stakeholder visits, including behind-the-scenes experiences.
    • Partner with Government Relations and Corporate Citizenship teams to support community programs, sponsorships, and nonprofit partnerships.
    • Manage project coordination and event planning for department-wide initiatives.
    • Respond to inquiries and build professional relationships across the resort.
    • Assist the Disneyland Resort Ambassador Program with content creation and communications.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with a preference for seniors.
    • A degree path in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Experience supporting events, community programs, or campus organizations.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your writing and storytelling style.
    • Proficiency in technology and a curiosity about AI.
    • Ability to manage detailed projects from start to finish while balancing multiple priorities.
    • A writing sample is required for your application. Please include a link to this sample on your resume.
    • Content creation, photography, videography, or video editing experience is a plus.
    • Familiarity with tools like CyberGrants, Smartsheet, or Airtable is a plus.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
    • Must meet The Disney Look appearance guidelines.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Anaheim, California.
    • Term: January 2027 through June 2027.
    • Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time).
    • Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
    • Requirements: You must provide your own housing in the Anaheim area and have reliable transportation to work. Sponsorship is not provided.
