About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at retail management within our store network. You will gain hands-on experience in sales, customer service, merchandising, and daily operations. Throughout the summer, you will shadow leaders and collaborate with teams across store, district, and regional levels to understand our off-price business model.
What you'll do#
- Lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team of Associates.
- Execute merchandise standards, including seasonal planning, shop setups, and feature creation.
- Monitor merchandise reporting and sales tracking to drive business performance.
- Manage operational systems, including scheduling, labor planning, and payroll maintenance.
- Complete an operational project and deliver a final presentation to executive leadership.
- Participate in networking events, an executive-led speaker series, and volunteering opportunities.
- Learn about loss control, environmental sustainability, and safety initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising senior in a 4-year degree program or enrollment in a 2-year degree program.
- Ability to work the full duration of the summer internship.
- Leadership experience and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong communication skills and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Entrepreneurial drive and a curiosity for business operations.
- Flexibility to work an in-person schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career within our retail stores.
